SING IT AMERICA is a project of the parent Federally Exempt Non Profit organization: It has a Tax Exempt Number of: 73-1323599.
SING IT AMERICA has a website of http://www.singitamerica.org It is a non partisan / non sectarian project to create a nation-wide awareness and celebration of the National Anthem Bicentennial. It also seeks to establish an official Year of Thanksgiving for the National Anthem Bicentennial with a resolution to congress that has bi-partisan support. We partner with StarSpangled200 & Ft McHenry to foster educational programs and historical celebrations.
We aim to encourage families to make their summer vacation choice to the East Coast to Baltimore and Washington DC in 2014-15, to see the new Visitor’s Center a Ft. McHenry, Flag House and Smithsonian American History Museum, concerning the Star Spangled Banner.
Whereas, many local residents of the 4 state area surround Baltimore are aware of the Bicentennial and celebrating, very few in the other 50 states are. And in our recent visits to the halls of congress, we discovered that few there knew of it either.
Thus, Our project is vitally important to the preservation and celebration of our National Anthem.
